The year has started brilliantly for 3-4 Pearce. We have set up classroom expectations and routines and the students have been making lots of new friends. Some of our highlights have included learning more about narrative writing and describing characters in our stories. In Mathematics, we have been focussing on place value and students made place value castles. We have also started an inquiry into eucalyptus trees, in which we will discover in what ways the events of past have impacted the present. We examined trees in the playground to identify if they were eucalyptus trees or not.
