In 3 Pearce this term we have been learning about different types of poetry. One of our favourite activities was writing acrostic poems about some of our favourite things. This type of poetry spells out a name, word, phrase or message with the first letter of each line of the poem.

First we brainstormed all the words we could think of about our topic, and then tried to use some of those ideas within the lines of the poem. We enjoyed publishing and decorating them, and sharing them with each other.
