In 5/6 Lewinski we have been incorporating the Tokyo Olympics into our classroom learning.

Students have been exploring countries, events and past host cities and analysing the data.

Perhaps the favourite learning experience was our very own Potato Olympics where students had to create an athlete, write a bio on the athlete, and compete in a pentathlon with their athlete.

Students had to design several apparatus including a ramp and catapult to compete.

Many mathematical and design concepts were explored including, measurement, angles and analysing data and results to find our podium.
