It feels like the time has gone by fast, but we’ve managed to squeeze a fair bit into the year so far in 3/4N. We’ve looked at persuasive and narrative texts in depth, explored shape and multiplicative thinking, categorised different living and non-living things and have started looking at the time before Europeans discovered Australia. It hasn’t all been hard work though. We have also discussed the ANZACs, and on excursion we investigated the Soldier’s Memorial Walk and Botanical Gardens. We’ve baked biscuits, built models, crafted cards and completed team challenges. Most of us love a “Fun Friday”, when up to date workers get to play strategy games like chess, Monopoly or UNO.
