ABC Christmas Appeal

The ABC Giving Tree Appeal is Tasmania’s biggest Christmas charity, celebrating over 30 years of generosity from the community. Together, we have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in gifts which are donated to disadvantaged and vulnerable people around the state throughout the holiday season.

This year, from 9 November through to 13 December, Austins Ferry Primary will be a 'Drop off Point' for the Christmas Giving Tree Appeal.

We will be happy to accept any donation you can offer. The appeal asks for donations to be new and unwrapped. The charity workers will match the donations to the needs of clients around the state and wrap the especially for the right person.

The charities are in particular need of gifts for boys of all ages, as well as gifts for teenagers and adults. Think about gifts that promote physical activity such as balls or cricket sets, or that might help to raise the self esteem of a young adult. Gift vouchers are also very welcome. We are also accepting non-perishable food items.
