Japanese Calligraphy Competition
Konnichi wa,
Several weeks ago our Year 5/6 students had an opportunity to try Japanese calligraphy using ink, brush and pen. Four students had their work selected to represent our school in the state calligraphy competition organised by JATNET (Japanese Teachers’ Network of Tasmania). Congratulations to Heliya Hame, Talia Vega and Holly Palmer. An extra special congratulations goes to Jobe Rainbird, who not only represented our school but was awarded the position of First Place in the primary brush and ink category.
This was a wonderful opportunity for all our students and an exceptional achievement for Jobe and our school. Special certificates will be awarded in assembly.
