In 5/6 Kearns, we have begun our unit on fractions. We have been exploring different ways to show, read and compare fractions. Students have been able to achieve this by using drawings and hands-on tasks, like using strips of paper to show a fraction.

We have also been focusing on our reading, identifying areas we want to improve on and creating goals to help us grow our reading abilities and skills. Students have been enthusiastic in making their goals and we are excited to reach these.
