In 3/4 Cochrane, we were fortunate enough to have an incursion where two people from Mawson’s Hut Foundation came to our school to teach us about Antarctica. This incursion allowed students to further their knowledge into our inquiry topic for Term 3 which is Antarctica. At the incursion students enjoyed sitting in the tent and having fake snow blown on them. They also enjoyed waddling around like penguins with an egg on their feet.
