In 1/2 Howell, our class have been researching countries who are playing in the World Cup (soccer). With the help of our buddy class (5/6 Lewinski), our class researched a country of choice and found interesting facts about that country such as their population, food, cities, festivals and currency.

After our class researched their country, we decided to make the countries flags in Minecraft. Each student was given the chance to plan how they would make their countries flag using an 8x8 grid. They then used that plan to make it in a Minecraft world.

Finally, we gathered our information and sorted it on a A3 poster. You can find our posters and flags outside our classroom in the hall of Green Pod.
